MEET SHERRY A. BURTON

Born in Kentucky, Sherry eloped with a Navy man at the age of eighteen. Forty-four years, three children, and ten grandchildren, and a furry menagerie later, Sherry and her husband now live in Michigan's thumb.

Sherry splits her writing time between a private office in town and her office at home. She is a full-time author, often working on multiple manuscripts at once.

When Sherry is not in the writing chair, she enjoys traveling to lectures and signing events where she shares her books and speaks about the history of the Orphan Trains. Sherry’s Orphan Train Saga is endorsed by the National Orphan Train Complex and has won multiple awards, including the coveted Charles Loring Brace Award.

Each book in Sherry’s 18 book and counting Jerry McNeal Series has earned multiple bestseller tags on Amazon.
