You will receive the first six books in The Orphan Train Saga.
Discovery, Shameless, Treachery, Guardian, Loyal, and Patience
Each book in the saga tells the story of one child. The books in the saga are historical fiction- I research and use pieces from actual children’s stories to tell each child’s tale, then weave history into the pages to keep the reader entertained.
Through the pages of the saga, the reader will meet real people of history and see actual events as they may have happened. Witness a train wreck in New York City -The Malbone Street Wreck, November of 1918, walk the streets of Detroit with members of the Purple Gang, fight through a fire in Manhattan – The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire, and smile at the act of kindness from a lovely lady on the streets of New York – Anna Laura Hill – placing agent Children’s Aid Society.
These are just some of the actual events and people who fill the pages and hopefully offer the reader a more enjoyable experience.
